In this video, Brian Lester from Astro Aviation explorers the subject of Upset prevention and recovery training even further by discussing how UPRT can benefit a pilot professionally.

We've explored how UPRT can improve a pilot's safety, but what does UPRT mean for a pilot professionally?

For many pilots yearly recurrent training is the only recognized place for pilots to learn new skills and gain industry knowledge. Unfortunately, after 10 to 20 years, most pilots have hit a plateau.

UPRT provides pilots of all skill levels with a much-needed avenue to continue building skills and knowledge outside of their regular training regiment.

UPRT is also being recognized industry-wide as a much needed step in safety. With the 2019 FAA mandates requiring Part 121 operations to have UPRT, it’s only a matter of time before executives in business aviation expect the same level of safety in their aircraft.

This is the third episode in a series investigating the benefits of Upset Prevention and Recovery Training. Join Brian as he explores this topic in more depth.
