In this video, Brian shares pertinent information regarding Upset Prevention and Recovery Training with aircraft owners and operators. We wanted to put together a quick and concise episode geared toward the owners and operators because currently UPRT is not mandatory, and in many cases the owners or flight department managers are the ones deciding if a pilot is going to go to additional training.

It's a big decision, and we wanted to make sure that every aspect was considered before the decision is made.

As many in the industry know, as of March 2019, the FAA is mandating that all airlines have an Upset Prevention and Recovery Training component in their training. While this has not yet been extended to other sectors of aviation, discerning owners may still want to have their pilots attend UPRT to stay on the leading edge of safety trends.
